Semicon Associates is experienced in performing the intricate custom ceramic and metal fabrication of small parts under a microscope. Both ceramic and metal fabrication are performed in a semi-automated and hand assembled manner using specialized equipment such as resistance spot welders, laser cutters, shear cutters, and laser welders.

Work is performed in a clean environment utilizing laminar-flow hoods. Part tolerances are often maintained to 0.0005" (0.0127mm) utilizing special jigging, fixturing and precision machining for metal fabrication. Some operations include hermetic joining of ceramic to metal.
